Margaret Woodhouse

Abandoning a law career at the end of the 1970s, Margaret began working as a graphic designer. She packaged over 40 titles under the Magari Publishing imprint for the New Zealand and international market, and was a regular exhibitor at international book fairs. Margaret has had particular experience in children's, gift and humour, health and self-help, and non-fiction publishing. She also has editing and ghost-writing experience and has authored over 30 of her own titles and illustrated a similar number. One of Margaret's strengths is the manner in which she mentors clients through each step of the process to tease the best out of them and to ensure they have the best possible experience. In addition to running the Booksmiths, Margaret is a writer of fiction. More about Margaret's books can be found on the Magari Publishing website.
